At the STEAD School, we believe that learning should be experiential, applied, and tied to student interest. At the conclusion of each project cycle, we take a full week off from our normal schedule to engage in what we call Accelerator Weeks. In these experiences, guides develop experiences outside of their typical day-to-day subject to immerse students in something special. Accelerators are the perfect opportunity for students to go on trips, hikes, visit museums and zoos, build buildings, make short films, work on engines – the sky is the limit! Students are encouraged to develop these weeks alongside their guides so students can dive deeply into something interesting to them!
